💍 Mel B Wows in Two Dresses at London Wedding to Rory McPhee
Mel B just proved that one dress is never enough for a Spice Girl-level wedding! The former Spice Girls icon, 50, tied the knot with hairstylist Rory McPhee, 37, in a beautiful ceremony on July 5 at the iconic St. Paul’s Cathedral in London — the same church where Princess Diana and Prince Charles were married.
Mel B wore not one but two stunning wedding dresses, starting with a custom ivory gown by Josephine Scott for the official ceremony. Later in the evening, she changed into a chic and modern look designed by Justin Alexander. According to Caroline Black, owner of Evelie Bridal Boutique, “Mel was a dream to work with, bringing her own sense of style to the occasion.”
This glamorous wedding came after months of teasing. Back in January, Mel B hinted on Today with Hoda & Jenna that she might wear multiple outfits — and she delivered! “I don’t think it would be fair to just have one,” she joked. “I’m going to really go for it.”
And she truly did! From her elegant wedding gowns to her playful leopard-print bikini at her bachelorette bash, Mel B embodied confidence and joy. Her hen party was filled with 36 of her closest friends, and she even posted a dramatic Instagram reel, captioned, “HEN DO TIME WITH THE MOST AMAZING GROUP OF 36 WOMEN!!!!”
Mel B earned the honor of marrying at St. Paul’s after being awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) by Prince William in 2022 for her advocacy against domestic violence.
