🎸 Jack Osbourne Pays Emotional Tribute After Ozzy Osbourne’s Final Black Sabbath Performance
In a night that will forever echo in rock history, Ozzy Osbourne, 76, delivered his final live performance with Black Sabbath at the Back to the Beginning festival in Birmingham on July 5. The legendary Prince of Darkness returned to his hometown for one last electrifying show — and his son, Jack Osbourne, honored the moment with a heartfelt tribute that touched fans worldwide.
Ozzy, seated on a throne due to complications from Parkinson’s disease and past injuries, performed a powerful solo set including "Crazy Train" and "Mr. Crowley" before being joined by original Black Sabbath bandmates Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward for four iconic tracks like “War Pigs” and “Paranoid.”
“Let the madness begin!” Ozzy shouted, igniting a crowd of over 42,000 fans.
Following the emotional set, Jack Osbourne, 39, shared a nostalgic video on Instagram showing his father bringing him onstage as a child. “For everything I learned along the way…the final Good Night. We Love You All,” he captioned the post, melting hearts across social media.
The night featured jaw-dropping appearances by Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Alice in Chains, Slayer, and more. Supergroups formed on the spot as Travis Barker jammed with Steven Tyler and Ronnie Wood, proving metal still reigns supreme.
Supported by his family, including Sharon and Kelly Osbourne, Ozzy called the show a tribute to his roots and donated proceeds to the Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorn Children’s Hospice.
Despite retiring from touring in 2023, Ozzy proved that even with health struggles, his spirit and legacy remain immortal.
“It’s time for me to give back to the place where I was born,” he said. “Birmingham Forever.”
A final bow, but never forgotten. 🖤🎤
