Kendra Wilkinson Makes Candid Confession About Intimacy & Playboy Past
Kendra Wilkinson is getting real about her past, relationships, and personal struggles. The 39-year-old Playboy veteran and former Girls Next Door star recently admitted on the Amy & T.J. podcast that therapy has revealed she may have a "little bit of a sex problem."
Struggles with Intimacy & Therapy Revelations
Wilkinson shared that her time in therapy has helped her recognize "unhealthy thoughts" regarding intimacy, stemming from her teenage years as one of Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends at the Playboy Mansion.
"I had to go through a lot of therapy, and they looked at me and they’re like — this is the first time I’m admitting this — but they’re like, ‘You might have a little bit of a sex problem,’" she confessed.
While she didn’t go into full detail, she admitted that her perspective on relationships has been shaped by her past experiences, making it difficult to settle down.
Life After Playboy: Marriage, Divorce & Healing
After leaving the Playboy Mansion at 23, Kendra quickly transitioned into family life, marrying former NFL player Hank Baskett in 2009. The couple welcomed two children—Hank Jr., 15, and Alijah, 10—before divorcing in 2018.
Despite their split, Wilkinson still cherishes their time together.
"Those were the happiest days of my entire life," she said, admitting that the end of her marriage "almost killed her."
Co-Parenting & Moving Forward
Although their relationship ended due to "too many mistakes," Kendra praised Baskett as an “amazing father” and expressed her lingering wish for their family to be whole again.
"I will always want my family back together. I will always want that, 'til the day I die," she admitted.
After six years of therapy and finding peace through medication, the former reality star and real estate agent says she’s now in a much better place.
