“It’s absurd that someone can be this canceled for something their ex did before they even heard it happened,” she wrote. Grimes emphasized that her focus is on her children’s well-being and not on explaining Musk's actions, stating, “I can only send love back into a world that is hurting.”
Grimes didn’t shy away from denouncing Nazism and the alt-right, assuring fans she stands firmly against hate ideologies. She admitted to feeling overwhelmed but expressed a willingness to clarify her stance diplomatically, saying, "I am happy to set the record straight in a meaningful way."
Musk, on the other hand, dismissed the backlash with a sarcastic response on X, calling the accusations “tired” and suggesting his critics need “better dirty tricks.”
