Bollywood’s favorite socialite, Orhan Awatramani, aka Orry, has spilled some unexpected tea about his friendship with Ananya Panday! The influencer, who made a guest appearance in the Amazon Prime Video series Call Me Bae, recently claimed that Ananya was “jealous and insecure” about his cameo.
Speaking on the Aleena Dissects podcast, Orry revealed that he and Ananya had a major fallout during the filming of the show. “She was jealous and insecure that I was going to be on Call Me Bae,” he said. “She made some very mean comments.” He further added that despite Ananya being the lead actor, she couldn’t have him removed from the series. “If she was threatened by my presence, then surely I am doing something right,” he remarked.
While this revelation has left fans shocked, it seems the two have moved past their differences. They were recently spotted together at a friend’s wedding, posing happily for pictures.
Call Me Bae premiered in September 2024 and was well-received by audiences. The show, also starring Vir Das, Varun Sood, Muskkan Jafferi, and Vihaan Samat, has already been renewed for a second season.
Ananya, who was last seen in Vikramaditya Motwane’s CTRL, has a packed schedule ahead with Chand Mera Dil and Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri in the pipeline.
