Kesha Calls Out Katy Perry, P. Diddy, and J.D. Vance in Bold Lollapalooza Performance

Kesha delivers a bold performance at Lollapalooza 2024, calling out Katy Perry, P. Diddy, and J.D. Vance with new lyrics.

Kesha set the Lollapalooza stage on fire Thursday night, delivering a performance that had everyone talking. Thousands of music lovers gathered at Grant Park to kick off Chicago's biggest music festival, and Kesha did not disappoint.

From the moment the word “Freedom” flashed on the screen behind her, the energy was palpable. The crowd erupted as Kesha began her 2010 hit "Tik Tok" with a provocative new line: "Wake up in the morning yelling, f--- P-Diddy." This bold change set the tone for an evening full of surprises.

The excitement continued as Kesha performed "Backstabber," holding a prop knife and singing the lyrics, "Katie’s to my left, rippin’ my style." Fans quickly connected this to her well-known feud with Katy Perry, adding an extra layer of drama to the performance.

The intensity peaked during her performance of "Woman," when Kesha addressed the crowd with a fiery message: “Did y’all hear that this country being run by childless cat ladies? Can someone tell that motherf - - - - - J.D. Vance that he’s correct and that it feels so f - - -ing good!”

Kesha then expressed her happiness, saying, “I’m so happy right now — the only thing I miss is my kitties.” She playfully called out, “Can someone bring out my pussies?” and her dancers appeared, wearing stuffed cat heads and mimicking a burlesque-style version of "Cats." The crowd went wild, cheering and laughing at the unexpected spectacle.

The surprises didn’t end there. A clip of Kamala Harris' viral moment, “You think you just fell out of a coconut tree?” played before seamlessly transitioning into another Kesha classic, “Blow.” The addition of a four-piece drum line gave the performance a circus-like atmosphere that left the audience in awe.

Reflecting on her first Lollapalooza performance, Kesha shared, “It was the first time more than five people came to see me play — I remember I was so f - - - ing terrified that I would be judged.” She spoke about the relentless criticism she has faced, saying, “But now, standing here as the woman I am right now, I can see that all of that hate has made me into one powerful f - - - ing mother f- - - - -.”

Kesha’s performance was a triumphant declaration of her freedom and resilience, leaving the crowd inspired and electrified.
