Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela, known for her bold statements, has sparked controversy by comparing herself to Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan.
In a recent interview with Indian media, Urvashi was asked, “What would you say to those who call you self-absorbed?”
In response, the actress said, “I’m fully immersed in my work. If people are saying that, they also say Urvashi Rautela is the best promoter after Shah Rukh Khan.”
Meanwhile, Urvashi made another bold claim about her film Dacoit Maharaj, stating, “Dacoit Maharaj is one of the highest-grossing films of 2025, and I became IMDb’s No. 1 star because of it.”
Her statement triggered an angry response from Shah Rukh Khan’s fans. Some called it a publicity stunt, while others mocked her remarks.
Urvashi’s Fee for Dacoit Maharaj
It’s worth noting that Dacoit Maharaj was released on January 12, 2025, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, and Shraddha Srinath in lead roles.
According to recent Indian media reports, Urvashi was paid ₹3 crore (approx. $360,000) for just a 3-minute role in the film.
