Mississippi’s Jamal Roberts took on Jelly Roll’s “Liar” and brought the house down. With a dramatic stool kick and fiery stage presence, Jamal delivered a raw and powerful performance that had the judges shook.
Even Jelly Roll was in awe:
“This is now Jamal’s song. I was singing Jamal’s song tonight.”
Lionel Richie added, “He performs like it might be the last time he ever sings,” while Luke Bryan jokingly groaned, “We’re 0 for 2!” referencing how both his and Jelly Roll’s songs had just been upstaged.
Victor Solomon Steals Luke Bryan’s Thunder
Illinois’ Victor Solomon surprised everyone with a country-rock twist, tackling Luke Bryan’s “That’s My Kind of Night” — suspenders, cowboy hat, hip swings, and all.
Bryan was both stunned and entertained:
“You can truly out-dance me.”
Carrie Underwood gushed:
“Your voice is perfect for every genre of music — I don’t know if I’ve ever heard that before.”
Even host Ryan Seacrest urged Bryan to pick up some moves from Victor before his next tour.

After battling illness during Hollywood Week, Platinum Ticket winner Kolbi Jordan made a roaring return with Patti LaBelle’s “New Attitude.” Her vocal range and confidence made it clear — she’s back and ready to compete.
