Allison Holker, the widow of beloved dancer and DJ Stephen “tWitch” Boss, is facing criticism from his family over her recently announced memoir and the use of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) at his funeral.

Holker’s book, This Far: My Story of Love, Loss, and Embracing the Light, has sparked controversy, with some family members accusing her of profiting from tWitch’s story while restricting their ability to share their perspectives. TMZ reports that the funeral NDAs prevented attendees from sharing details or creating media projects about tWitch’s life, redirecting any potential proceeds back to Holker—a clause the family has labeled exploitative.

However, Holker’s daughter, Weslie Fowler, defended the NDAs, explaining they were meant to protect tWitch’s privacy and prevent distressing photos or videos from leaking. In her memoir, Holker shared that she limited the funeral’s guest list to 13 close attendees and introduced NDAs to shield their children from potential harm.

Despite the criticism, Holker has pledged that all proceeds from her book will benefit the Move with Kindness Foundation, a charity honoring tWitch’s legacy. Sources also confirm no NDA breaches have occurred, and Holker has not personally profited from enforcing the agreements.

While the family’s discontent highlights the complexity of navigating grief and legacy, Holker maintains her focus on preserving tWitch’s memory and supporting their children during this challenging time.
