Fans are buzzing about the possibility of Amy Adams portraying Taylor Swift's publicist, Tree Paine, in a future biopic, and it seems the Enchanted star is just as thrilled by the idea!
During her recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Adams lit up when Fallon mentioned the fancasting, saying, “That would be amazing. That would be so fun.” With a smile, she added, “If it got me closer to Taylor, then…”
The actress also shared a personal connection to Swift, revealing that she became a “Swiftie at 50” after attending the Eras Tour. “I went from like, normal, to like, ‘I’ll take all the friendship bracelets!’” she joked, describing the magical experience of the concert. Her teenage daughter, however, wasn’t as thrilled about sharing her mom’s newfound fandom.
Adams also reminisced about a karaoke moment with Swift at a party, where they belted out 4 Non Blondes' "What’s Up?". While Adams jokingly admitted to possibly out-singing Swift, fans can’t help but imagine the two collaborating on screen.
With Adams’ enthusiasm and the uncanny resemblance to Paine, fans are eagerly hoping for this biopic to come to life. Imagine Amy Adams rocking the red hair, fierce suits, and the backstage drama of Taylor Swift's iconic career—it’s a Swiftie dream waiting to happen!
