At ELLE’s Women in Hollywood event in Los Angeles, where she dazzled in a strapless nude gown by The Row, with her hair styled into a chic updo.
Although Saoirse attended solo, fans know she recently tied the knot with actor Jack Lowden in a private ceremony this July. The couple made their red carpet debut as newlyweds at the 2024 Emmy Awards, keeping their love story beautifully low-key.
When asked about her private nature, Ronan shared her perspective with ELLE:
“I like that people don’t know my business. I’m an actor, and the side of me that’s out there that I want people to see is in the work.”
Her decision to avoid social media hasn’t always been easy, though. Saoirse candidly revealed that she has lost out on roles due to her absence online, with casting teams sometimes prioritizing follower counts over talent. But Ronan, ever true to herself, stood her ground:
“In the end, I was like, ‘Okay, well, I don’t want to be in a movie like that, anyway.’”
