Lili Reinhart Launches Personal Day: A Skincare Brand Inspired by Her Acne Journey

Lili Reinhart at the launch of her skincare brand Personal Day, sharing her journey with acne and self-acceptance.

Lili Reinhart, best known for her role in Riverdale, is breaking barriers by sharing her struggles with acne and how they inspired her to launch her own skincare brand, Personal Day. At a recent event in West Hollywood, the 28-year-old actress opened up about the emotional toll acne took on her, especially as a public figure.

“Not a lot of celebrities have acne,” Reinhart revealed. “I felt like I needed to hide.” These feelings of isolation and shame, stemming from both adolescence and adult acne, motivated her to create a solution for herself and others.

Personal Day, co-founded with Shelagh Wong, focuses on providing trustworthy, effective acne care without harmful ingredients. “Acne is something you manage, not ‘fix,’” Reinhart explained. “We want people to feel supported, not judged.”

The skincare line combines luxury ingredients and expert insights from beauty professionals and mental health specialists. Reinhart’s mission goes beyond clear skin—she aims to foster a community where individuals feel less alone in their journey.

“When I was a teenager, no celebrities were talking about acne. I want to change that,” said Reinhart, hoping to inspire more conversations about skin health and self-acceptance.

Personal Day offers more than products; it promises a space where healing is celebrated, and stigma is left behind.
