Charlie Cox Brings ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ to D23: Marvel's Big Reveal

Charlie Cox to showcase ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ at D23, offering exclusive Marvel series updates and insights.

Hey Marvel fans, gear up for some exciting news! Charlie Cox is heading to the D23: Ultimate Fan Event in Anaheim to promote the highly anticipated Disney+ series “Daredevil: Born Again.” After Marvel Studios’ movie-focused panel at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), where they teased upcoming blockbusters like “Fantastic Four: First Steps,” “Captain America: Brave New World,” and “Thunderbolts,” it’s time for some thrilling updates on our favorite Devil of Hell’s Kitchen.

Here’s the scoop: At SDCC, Marvel wowed us with their movie lineup, including the bombshell that the Russo Brothers will direct the next two “Avengers” movies, “Doomsday” and “Secret Wars,” with Robert Downey Jr. back as Doctor Doom. But D23 is saving some major surprises for TV and streaming fans.

The D23 Studio Showcase, happening on August 9, 2024, at the Honda Center, will feature announcements from Disney’s various studios, including Lucasfilm, 20th Century Studios, Pixar, Disney, and of course, Marvel. Look out for a separate panel highlighting upcoming animated Marvel shows like “Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man” and “Eyes of Wakanda.”

Recently, Charlie Cox, Jon Bernthal, and Deborah Ann Woll were spotted at GalaxyCon in Raleigh, North Carolina. During the event, Cox confirmed to Cosmic Circus that he would be at D23 to promote “Daredevil: Born Again,” which is set to premiere on Disney+ in March 2025. He even hinted at a possible appearance at New York Comic-Con for more promotion!

Initially planned as an 18-episode series, “Daredevil: Born Again” will now have nine episodes in its first season due to Hollywood strikes and creative issues. But don’t worry—Cox assured us that filming for the second season is expected to kick off later this year. He’s been tirelessly promoting the series, even at an Upfront event for advertisers.

With a packed schedule at D23 and the need to share the spotlight with Pixar, Star Wars, and Disney announcements, “Daredevil: Born Again” is set to be one of the few Marvel projects highlighted. Get ready for some epic reveals!
