BLACKPINK members Jennie, Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo excitedly reveal their 2025 comeback and world tour plans with YG Entertainment.

Get ready, BLINKs! BLACKPINK is making a triumphant return to your area. In a thrilling announcement on Sunday, July 21, YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun-suk revealed that the K-pop sensation will make their comeback in 2025. Along with new music, BLACKPINK will also embark on an exciting world tour next year.

Extending the Legacy

In December 2023, BLACKPINK extended their contract with YG Entertainment, ensuring that their iconic group activities will continue. This comeback will be their first release since the 2022 hit album, Born Pink.

Celebrating Eight Years

The group, which debuted in August 2016, is known for chart-topping hits like “As If It’s Your Last,” “Kill This Love,” “BOOMBAYAH,” “Whistle,” and “Lovesick Girls.” To celebrate their eighth anniversary, YG announced a special fan signing event on August 8, creating more excitement among fans.

Individual Endeavors

While BLACKPINK continues to shine as a group, its members are also flourishing individually. In December 2023, Jennie launched her own agency, Odd Atelier. Lisa and Jisoo followed suit, starting their labels, LLOUD Co. and BLISSOO, respectively, in February 2024. Rosé joined The Black Label in June 2024.

Yang Hyun-suk also shared another bombshell in the same video: BLACKPINK’s sister group, 2NE1, will reunite for a worldwide concert tour. Fans of both groups have much to look forward to in the coming years.
