Taylor Swift keeps her fans on their toes with surprise performances and unique mashups during her Eras Tour. On Saturday, June 8, during her second show in Scotland at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium, Swift delighted the audience with a special acoustic performance.

A Nostalgic Surprise

In the middle of her set, Swift announced, “You get extra points if you know this next song at all because it is really, really old.” She then seamlessly transitioned into "Crazier" from the 2009 Hannah Montana movie, a song she originally performed with Miley Cyrus. This nostalgic moment was part of a mashup with "All of the Girls You Loved Before," a track from 2023. Playing on the piano, Swift’s heartfelt performance captivated the crowd.

“Oh my God, you’re so unbelievable,” she remarked before the song's bridge, acknowledging the enthusiastic response from her fans.

The Surprise Song Section

This memorable performance occurred during the surprise song section of the Eras Tour, where Swift plays two songs or mashups acoustically each night. On the second night in Edinburgh, she also featured a mashup of "The Bolter" from 2024's The Tortured Poets Department with "Getaway Car" from her 2017 album, Reputation.

Swift’s Love for Scotland

The Eras Tour marks only the second time Swift has performed in Scotland. Her first concert in the country was in June 2015, during the 1989 World Tour, where she played a sold-out show in Glasgow. Swift has always expressed her affection for Scotland, telling the Glasgow audience in 2015, “I happen to love Scottish people, personally.” This concert came just a month after she went public with her relationship with Scottish producer Calvin Harris.

During that 2015 concert, Swift shared a personal anecdote about her Scottish heritage. She recalled an email from her father, Scott Swift, which read, “Our whole family is from Scotland and pretty much nowhere else, so you have to tell them.”

A Magical Evening

The surprise performance of "Crazier" in Edinburgh added a touch of nostalgia and excitement to an already magical evening. As Swift continues her Eras Tour, fans eagerly anticipate what other surprises she has in store.
