In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, DeSorbo, 31, peeled back the curtain on the behind-the-scenes effort that went into nailing the reunion's fashion game. "We rely on Lindsay to liaise with production," she explained. "She's like our mom figure in the group. We discuss our ideas, and then Lindsay communicates them effectively to production on our behalf."
Unlike other reality shows with strict themes or color schemes, Summer House typically gives its cast more freedom. This can sometimes lead to disparate looks that don't quite mesh. However, this year was different. "We wanted a cohesive vibe—something professional yet sexy," DeSorbo shared.
"I initiated a group chat and suggested we go with whites and neutrals. But then Kyle threw in a curveball with his custom green suit. So, we pivoted around his choice and settled on neutrals, ensuring we all complemented each other."
Beyond fashion, the reunion also delved into personal dynamics, with DeSorbo defending her friend, Ciara Miller, amidst relationship fallout with new cast member West Wilson.
Addressing Wilson's reasons for not pursuing a relationship post-show, DeSorbo asserted her loyalty to Miller. "I would defend any friend in that situation," she emphasized. "It's about standing up for what's right, regardless of who's involved."
