Jimin’s latest track offers the first taste of his upcoming album, MUSE, set to drop on July 19th. The title “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” is a nod to his dedicated team of co-producers, Pdogg, GHSTLOOP, and EVAN. They branded themselves as the “Smeraldo Marching Band” during the production of Jimin’s first solo project, representing their unified creative force. Fun fact: “Smeraldo” is a fictional flower from the BTS Universe, symbolizing various interconnected storylines!
True to its vibrant name, “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” features a lively brass ensemble, bringing a cheerful vibe that contrasts with the intense energy of Jimin’s previous single, “Set Me Free Pt.2” from FACE. With heartfelt lyrics like “I’ll come closer to you, I love you, babe/ I want you, babe/ I wanna hold your hand,” Jimin showcases his softer side, and we’re loving it!

Despite still having nearly a year left in his military service, Jimin’s commitment to his music is unwavering. His bandmates RM, SUGA, V, and Jung Kook are also serving, but BTS’s eldest, Jin, has completed his service and returned to civilian life. j-hope is expected to finish his military duties in October.
