Larry Allen, an iconic offensive lineman and a key figure in the Cowboys' legacy, passed away suddenly on Sunday at the age of 52. Allen was vacationing in Mexico with his family at the time of his passing.
Allen's career was nothing short of remarkable. Drafted in the second round of the 1994 NFL Draft out of Sonoma State, he quickly established himself as a dominant force on the field. Known for his incredible strength, agility, and versatility, Allen earned 10 Pro Bowl selections and seven All-Pro honors during his 12 seasons with the Cowboys. He finished his playing career with the San Francisco 49ers, adding an 11th Pro Bowl selection in 2006.

He was deeply loved and cared for by his wife, Janelle – whom he referred to as his heart and soul, his daughters Jayla and Loriana, and son, Larry III. The Jones family and the Cowboys extend their deepest condolences, thoughts, and prayers to the Allen family and grieve along with the many other friends and Cowboys teammates that also loved Larry.
